Claire is currently the Visiting Artist Assistant Professor of Jewelry & Metalsmithing at the University of Oregon. She earned an MFA from The State University of New York at New Paltz in 2021.

Her current research utilizes the expressive potential of unexpected material combinations and transformations to fabricate objects that examine enduring phenomena like knowledge, perception, opulence, discovery, and acquisition as components of the most fundamental human drives and desires. Through her investigations concrete reference and pure reverie are synthesized, exaggerated, undermined, elevated, or reinterpreted into evocative forms that create poetic and transporting moments.

Claire’s work has been featured in several exhibitions during New York City Jewelry Week and Munich Jewelry Week, and she has shown work nationally and internationally with a number of institutions including Cluster London, Baltimore Jewelry Center, Brooklyn Metal Works, Melton Gallery, and the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
