I am interested in the confluence of knowledge, perception, and mystery, the transcendence of epiphany, the consequences of flawed understanding, and the aggregate that comprises the self.

In my recent exploration of childhood as self-creation tinsel, glitter, iridescent plastics, ribbons, stickers, aluminum foil, crystals, hot glue, rhinestones and other items I associate with youthful optimism and imagination are elevated through their treatment and arrangement. Compositionally, I have been using grids and geometry to formalize and ground these playful, frenetic materials.
